I WANNA live there Wednesday # 139

Good morning everyone !

This week I thought we'd explore Lachine ( Montreal )
It's a beautiful neighborhood in Montreal - bordering the Lachine Canal - which is part of Parks Canada national historic sites - being one of the oldest pioneer villages in Canada.
If you're a history buff you can read it's history HERE - it's pretty interesting - dating back to the time of Native Indians ( Iroiquois ) and forward..................

Lachine ( pronounced LA SHEEN )gets it's name from the French words La Chine ( China ) when explorers were trying to find a route from New France to China..............and so the canal was named Lachine !

I'm showing 2 properties today - here's the first one !

Built in 1877
7 beds - 6 baths
Detached garage
2,500,000
Realtors - CHARLENE GRABOWSKI AND ERIC TARANOWSKI

Remember price reflects Location Location Location !
And it's a beauty - I love how they've kept a lot of the original features -
Here we go !

Master Bedroom

And if that one was a little pricey - there's always this condo/loft !

Price - 184,900

Realtor - DANIEL MACKAY

Wonder where that staircase leads too ?

What an incredible bonus for the price - just love this space !

Hope you all have a wonderful day !
Hugs,
Me
P.S - someone mentioned that the pics on this post are " shaky - as in you'll get motion sickness looking at them "  please let me know if this happens to anyone else?  Many thanks !
